Chen Gong

Chen Gong is a prominent baker in the city of Chungking. He has been a close friend of Wong Ping for several years. The limits of their friendship are tested when Wong Ping uses the marriage broker that Chen Gong wanted to consult. That prominent broker will only take one client per town per year.

Chen Gong's attempts at revenge try to undercut his friend's authority as mayor. They even go so far as to threaten the life of Soong Li, the Chungking Dragon.

Are there limits to friendship? How far will one go when those limits are reached?
